One hours drive, either east or west of Orlando, you will find beautiful sandy beaches. To the west, is the gulf coast beaches, which have white sandy beaches at St Petersburg and Clearwater. To the east, are the Atlantic Coast beaches of Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach and Cocoa Beach. Miami is only a four hour drive from Orlando for those who fancy venturing further.
